Football Expert Sutton Faces Off Against Artist Olly Murs in Premier League Predictions

The Gunners' ten-match victorious run was ended by Sunderland prior to the international hiatus, but can the English top division frontrunners recover against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday?

"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," stated soccer specialist Chris Sutton.

"Frank will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still find a way to win."

Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, versus artificial intelligence, fans and a range of special visitors.

For the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.

Murs' latest record, the new release, is out on the weekend.

Football and Family Experiences

Murs is a talented footballer as well as a successful artist and has been a star of multiple charity football games down the years - but he is not planning a professional comeback as a footballer.

"{I actually played in a benefit match the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "The side was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!

"I continue to love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it properly again.

"Plus I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or son decides to play instead."

Murs and his spouse Amelia Tank have two children, their daughter and Albert, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their manager.

"I won't force football on our children but I've previously told my wife that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be coaching their Saturday soccer side," he added.

"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a period too.

"My father coached with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I inherited it. He coached our team for two or three years and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea might have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their offense is already stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.

I still think this fixture will be quite tight, however. Burnley are disciplined and their sole home defeats so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.

This suggests a 1-1 tie to me, but I am actually going to choose the London side to win narrowly for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.

The singer's prediction: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Bournemouth have been defeated in their past two games - although both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which surprised me.

On the other hand, the Hammers won back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at home, they do look competitive again.

West Ham's only on the road victory this season came at Forest in August, when their manager Nuno Espirito Santo was previously that team's manager.

So, what on earth do I predict here - will it be West Ham continuing their streak under their manager, or the home side responding?

I will choose Bournemouth, because I believe what occurred against Aston Villa was a anomaly.

The pundit's forecast: 2-0

The guest's prediction: The home team are performing strongly but West Ham have picked up under Nuno. 2-2

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Bees were considered one of the frontrunners for the drop before the campaign started, but they have surprised a several people under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three wins in their last four matches.

A family member told me to select Bees striker Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks back and, guess what, I ignored the advice.

Thiago will probably score again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or back Brentford at Amex Stadium.

They have not had great fortune on the travel this term, and Brighton are always decent at their stadium. Brentford will try to hit them on the counter-attack but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's team carry much more of a danger.

The analyst's forecast: 2-1

Olly's prediction: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a many scores but it actually proves to be quite tight. 1-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

It is a massive game for Fulham, who have lost five of their past six games.

They have got lots of talent in their squad but it nonetheless seems like they could be dragged into a drop zone fight.

Regarding the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.

Their performance in the two-all tie with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We've not seen anyone else disrupt the North London side like that this season, and they were fully competitive for them.

The logical choice to do to support the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of disrupting Fulham up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat Chelsea at the close of last month.

However I am not going to do that. Instead, I truly need to carry on opposing Sunderland with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their good outcomes because they evidently love to prove me wrong.

Looking at the home side's at Craven Cottage record, the only team they have lost to is the league leaders. Their manager's team will be extremely desperate for a good outcome, so I am going to predict they will secure three points.

The expert's forecast: 1-0

Olly's prediction: I'm aware the visitors are performing strongly and additionally that Fulham are on a bad run... but they have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0

AI's prediction: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

It is a tough fixture to predict. The Reds have lost seven of their last ten matches in all competitions, but could they be among the sides who profit from the {international break|
