2025's Top Horror Feature Comes Back to IMAX Just in Time for Halloween

Perfectly timed October scares begins, a standout among the most celebrated horror films of the past few years is set for an exclusive reappearance to theaters, this time solely in IMAX screens.

Large-Screen Exclusive Screening Information

The film named The Sinners, a project directed by filmmaker Ryan Coogler, is scheduled to be shown again in select IMAX locations starting Oct. 30, with a one-week engagement ending on Nov. 5.

If you saw Sinners during its initial cinema run, you already know how great amazing chance this represents for another screening in a theater.

But, if your original screening missed out on IMAX, this is your chance to fix that, as the movie appears completely stunning on a massive IMAX theater.

Bearing in mind that its first theatrical run was abbreviated in terms of IMAX showings, because of a competing movie claiming those screens just two weeks after release, this could actually be the very first option to watch it in IMAX.

Missed Sinners? Now's Your Chance!

Alternatively, maybe you didn't watched Sinners at all. In that case, now is the moment to correct this oversight.

There is no more suitable period to watch a spooky film, especially a story that elevates the genre.

Fortunately, Ryan Coogler brings some expertise in this area, succeeding in a similar feat with fighting movies plus superhero features.

The final product is a gripping yet heartbreakingly terrifying story filled with blood, family trauma, romantic loss, the undead, and Jordan taking on two main characters as two brothers known as Smoke and Stack.

Filmmaker's Thoughts About the Star

We asked the actor to perform this challenging thing technically, portraying two distinct individuals, and it was a performance that we needed to include the backstory we established before to succeed in this.
Watching him recognized from fellow actors and other folks in the industry, I believe that would mean so much for him.

What’s Next in Coogler's Pipeline

In the future, it's clear that the movie absolutely offered Coogler the motivation to keep creating within horror genres.

He’s already announced an X-Files reboot currently being developed.

Discussing other reasons drives his choice to revive the beloved show, he shared:

Just as with my connection to the Rocky series and my father, The X-Files is one of those things for my mother.
She means the world in my life — she’s actually in attendance today — making this a big one for me.
I aim to do right for her plus the audience. She has looked at a portion of the writing I created for the project. My mom is fired up.

Final Chance to Catch This Horror Gem

It's unclear at what time the director's version of the iconic series will see its release.

At the very least, you all have a final opportunity to watch his genuinely remarkable Sinners when it returns in IMAX theaters this Oct. 30.
